💙 Tim's Law has now been presented in Parliament

Yesterday marked one of the most important milestones in our campaign.

After more than two years of determination, and with support now approaching 215,000 signatures, Tim's Law was formally presented in the House of Commons by Peter Dowd MP, with the support of Angela Eagle MP.

On behalf of my family, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Peter Dowd, Angela Eagle and Angela Eagle's office. Your kindness, encouragement and commitment have helped bring Tim's Law to Parliament, and we will be forever grateful.

Hearing Tim's name spoken in the House of Commons was an incredibly emotional moment. Tim was a much-loved son, brother, father, uncle and friend, and we miss him every single day. We began this campaign in his memory, hoping to help prevent other families from experiencing the devastating loss that ours has endured.

One moment that will stay with us forever came after the presentation, when I thanked Peter Dowd. He replied:

"It was a privilege to speak on behalf of you, your family and, most all, Tim."

Those words meant more to us than we can express.

This presentation is a significant milestone, but our work is not finished. We now hope Tim's Law will go on to receive a full parliamentary debate so that the changes we are are calling for can be properly considered.

To every single person who has signed the petition, shared our campaign, contacted their MP or supported us in any way – thank you. This achievement belongs to every one of you. Without your support, Tim's Law would never have reached Parliament.
