Tim's Law to Be Presented in Parliament on 1 July

Tim's Law Update: A Major Milestone Ahead
I wanted to share an important update with everyone supporting Tim's Law.
Firstly, thank you. Because of your incredible support, the petition has now reached 214,651 signatures. Every signature represents a voice calling for stronger action against dangerous, drink and drug drivers, and for better protection of innocent road users.
I am also pleased to share that Tim's Law will be formally presented in Parliament on 1 July 2026 by Peter Dowd MP, with the support of Angela Eagle MP.
This is a significant milestone for our campaign and one that would not have been possible without each and every one of you who has signed, shared and supported Tim's Law.
Many of you know why this campaign matters so much to me. My brother Tim was killed by a repeat dangerous driver who had been involved in a previous serious collision just days earlier. Since losing Tim, our family has been determined to push for changes that could help prevent other families suffering the same devastating loss.
In recent months, we have seen growing engagement from ministers, road safety organisations, police leaders and the media. Tim's Law was recently featured on Sky News, helping bring this important issue to a national audience.
While there is still a long way to go, the presentation in Parliament marks another important step forward. The campaign is continuing to build momentum, and I remain committed to working with decision-makers to achieve meaningful change.
Thank you again for standing with us and helping to keep Tim's memory alive through this campaign.
Together, we are making sure that Tim's voice is being heard.
Please continue to share Tim's Law with friends, family and on social media. Every conversation helps raise awareness, keeps pressure on decision-makers, and brings us one step closer to meaningful change.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
