Our Family’s dog was tragically hit by a speeding motorist on the Beaver Bank road and left in a ditch to die without this person checking for our phone number/address on her tags or reporting the incident. 
Ideally we would like to petition to the Law Amendment Committee through the Nova Scotia Legislature passing a bill that makes an individual legally obligated to report injury to any domesticated animal caused by their motor vehicle.
