Recycle the Rim - Let us recycle our cups in all of your restaurants
The Issue
According to the Tim Hortons' mission statement they strive to be the quality leader in everything they do, then why isn't it a leader in recycling? Tim Hortons started to introduce recycling in select locations in 2000, after 12 years less than 20% of their stores offer recycling facilities. This is unacceptable. Competitors like Starbucks are able to provide recycling services and Tim Hortons shows that it has the capability as well. It is time to change.
How big of an issue is this? Tim Hortons sells about 3 million cups of coffee EVERY day. The vast majority of these coffees are served in the disposable cups. We want Tim Hortons to improve its recycling practices by offering in store recycling facilities and we need your help. Together we can Recycle the Rim.
