It is very known that Special Effects(SFX) Makeup Artists are being silenced on tiktok. TikTok has guidelines that state that there can’t be real gore/shocking videos. Many SFX creators know this so they put up warnings stating everything in the vid is makeup and that the blood they use is indeed fake. This does not seem to be enough for TikTok so they continue to constantly take down/silence videos that have any sort of fake gore in it. These creators are basically gambling when they make videos showing off their talent because there is only a slim chance these videos will indeed stay up for over a day.

Special Effects Makeup is a form of art. TikTok should not be silencing these creators that are trying to show off their talent. Yes the app is indeed for ages 13+, but there are many horror movies out there that are rated PG that still show fake blood and fake gore. So why can’t these creators show off similar contact on this video making app?
