Creators on TickTock are having issues with people spamming our accounts. Us creators do not have any control over what our followers or users that do not like our content do. We can follow all community guidelines, not break a single guideline, and still become banned, restricted, and lose privileges on our account due to people spamming, reporting, and reporting false information because they do not like a certain person. As a creator on TikTok, I am growing, I own a nonprofit organization that helps the homeless called Arieshaswings. Because I am a lesbian, and because I have reached out to so many people and have grown so fast I have built up quite the fan base of “haters”. I am not the only creator that has this issue and I believe it needs to be addressed. I use TikTok Facebook Instagram and YouTube as my platforms, but Tiktok is my main platform. Each week I am banned for a new problem. It takes Tiktok up to two weeks to fix the problem and then they send me a message apologizing. In the same message, I also get a warning saying if it happens again my account will be suspended. After TikTok bans me first then investigates later, they find out that I did not violate community guidelines so they restore my continent. What they don’t do is take the points off my account, so each time I am reported for violating community guidelines my account racks up points and I will eventually lose 100% access to my account and it is 100% out of my control and Tiktok needs to fix this issue. I have reached out to other big creators on tiktok and they have the same issue. INVESTIGATE FIRST, BAN AFTER INVESTIGATION. If content is not against community guidelines, remove the points against the creator’s account so they do not loose it. Thank you for your time and I hope this makes a change !
