The Issue

Hello everyone 💜 I am Tianne Olivia’s momma 💜

We want to Introduce Tianne Olivia’s Law to ensure that evidence given by victims of domestic abuse while they are alive cannot be dismissed as hearsay if they later die, so their voice remains protected in the justice system.
We want to strengthen and complement existing protections such as Claire’s Law by closing gaps that leave victims vulnerable after abuse has already occurred, including improved monitoring, wellbeing checks, and enforcement for high-risk perpetrators.

To summarise;

Introduce TIanne’s Law to protect victim evidence and close gaps in Claire’s Law.

Introduce TIanne’s Law so evidence given by domestic abuse victims while alive is not dismissed as hearsay after death. Amend and strengthen Claire’s Law to close gaps in protection, improve monitoring of high risk perpetrators, and prevent future deaths. Fund support when victims leave perpetrators, and funded support for survivor packages.

Only parliament can change the law. Tianne gave evidence about her abuse while she was alive, yet after her death it was treated as hearsay rules. Existing protections like Claire’s Law do not cover these gaps. Without legal reform, victims’ voices can still be lost. Parliament must act to strengthen the law and ensure robust support packages are in place when victims leave abusers. To protect mental health damaged by coercive control. TIanne’s mental health declined under coercive control until she could not longer look after her health or her mental well being.

💜 About Tianne Olivia 💜

My Tianne Olivia was a much loved daughter, sister, niece and loyal friend she was vibrant, kind, and full of life, Tianne was LOVE. Tianne was a celebrity hair and makeup artist, a social media influencer, and a such a beautiful kind soul who went viral for her creativity, authenticity and transparency, sharing personal stories on social media about mental health, endometriosis, suicide and abuse. Tianne is better known to the masses as finesse the lace. Tianne helped others, lifted people up, and gave so much of herself — even while she was in pain.

Tianne had a voice, a platform, and a future. This campaign exists to honour who she truly was and to ensure her voice, and the voices of others like her, are never silenced. 💜

We want to ensure no grieving mother or family member should have to endure not only grief from the loss of their child but fight for their rights whilst grieving such a loss 💜

The current laws protect abusers more than the victim
