Bring back Timesplitters

Bring back Timesplitters
The Issue
TimeSplitters is a series of first-person shooter video games developed by Free Radical Design and published by Eidos Interactive and later by Electronic Arts (EA). The first game, Timesplitters, was developed for the Playstation 2 on October 26, 2000, Timesplitters 2 in October 2002 for the Playstation 2, original XBOX, and Nintendo Gamecube, and Timesplitters: Future Perfect in March of 2005 for the Playstation 2, Original XBOX, and Nintendo Gamecube.
In the early 2000s, Timesplitters was one of the most beloved game trilogies up to the end of the 6th console generation. Plans for a fourth installment of the series on the other hand were canceled due to unknown circumstances. Since then, fans of the TimeSplitters community have been asking for a new installment of the beloved series. In 2018, THQ Nordic and its sister company, Deep Silver, acquired the rights to the Timesplitters license have revealed that they have plans to start production on a new sequel. While there is progress on a new entry, it has been a long time since a new game and the last games were exclusive to the 6th generation of consoles. What people are asking is a re-release of the original trilogy for newer consoles and PC. The only way to play these games is to either still be in possession of those old consoles or to use an emulator. While it is a good way to play these games, a re-release would be more practical and easier for newer players to get into the series.
