Burgettstown, Washington County Pennsylvania may be a small and rural school district, but we are a district that cares for our young generation. The importance of an education, sportsmanship of sports, community ties, supporting our local businesses and strong moral beliefs all stem from our Burgettstown Area School District. This school is needed in our community and our community may lose it due to the lack of funding provided by the state or the possible acquisition of a loan. The possibility of a temporary shut down to a permanent shut down, would be detrimental to the education of our students. Pennsylvania State budget needs to be passed and our school district needs the funding to continue to educate our children and mold them into the leaders, that our Burgettstown Area School District demonstrates.
