In the State of Pennsylvania, you are not allowed to record someone personally without permission. In some cases, this is okay. But for woman/men/children involved in domestic violence and abuse. This is a problem. My best friend is in a abusive situation, I try to help the best I can. As she has no family and barely any money. Fortunately, she finally had the chance to catch her boyfriend in a rage while secretly recording. Unfortunatly a situation happened where the police were involved and she tried to show then. Instead to be told that she couldn't without telling her abuser she was recording him. This is not okay as how can any child, woman, or man go through this. And be unable to get proof. All abusers have many faces. I'm asking Governor Tom Wolf and the State of Pennsylvania to allow this type of recording to occur. As dangerous situations like this can be prevented and save many lives.
