It has been over a year since the attempted NIKE BAN from Kenner public officials. However, we have been working everyday to make sure community voices are heard. Since then, Kenner and it's public officials continue to target our Black and Brown communities with their racist policies.

Today, we are fighting to keep our community schools open and protected. Washington Elementary STEM School is a historic school in Kenner, LA with a long and rich history of being an anchor in the community. Living Black History and the Public School System wants to erase that history. We see first hand what's happening in New Orleans and this so called movement of a charter experiment isolating our children and removing them from their neighborhoods. Help us fight to keep community schools.
