The end is coming to the Salt River Wild Horses. It will be as soon as THIS FRIDAY. Please read the below post from Salt River Wild Horse Managment Group and the attached link to the public announcement by the forest service. 
They will "impound" any horses which are non branded (which are considered "Stray livestock" even though these animals were born in the wild and live in the wild and if no one claims them, they will be sold at public auction (which most certainly seals their fate to go to slaughter in Mexico) and any not sold at Public Auction will go to "private auction or be "destroyed or otherwise disposed of". This is a great injustice for these horses.
