Over a year ago the Crown Office said they would release copies of the forensic report, photos and an audio recording to our solicitors, to allow us to progress with a full review or second post mortem.  We need to know what happened to our child and how he died, before we can erect his headstone and lay him to rest, and they have been aware of this.  

Despite our solicitor regularly chasing the release of this information, they have now said, a year on. that we need to raise a court order.  This is now in progress so hopefully we will have what we need soon, despite their stalling tactics.  Meanwhile we have Barry’s headstone in a yard.  I’m guessing they subject families to such cruel, inhumane behaviour in the hope that it gets too much and you feel forced to give up, but we will never give up.  Barry deserves justice and he deserves to have his headstone erected and to be laid to rest.  The other individuals involved in his murder also need to be held accountable and face prosecution or Barry will not be their only victim.
