In their previous written admission that they incorrectly detailed in their early investigation report to COPFS that Barry was found completely undressed wearing only boxer shorts, then a year later again wrote to COPFS falsely stating the same, Police Scotland also admit in the same letter that the Senior Investigating Officer and his Deputy, were unaware that their own Sergeant who was first person to find Barry dying at the scene had falsely recorded in his statement that Barry was undressed wearing only boxer shorts.

However despite the fact they had the evidence the entire time to prove this was false, in the clothing removed from Barry in Ninewells Hospital as he was dying and CCTV footage of him wearing the same clothing shortly before he was stabbed, they accepted the same false statement of Barry being undressed wearing only boxer shorts from a suspect the day after she was arrested. This could only have came from the original source - the Police, as they were questioning her.

But why did the SIO and his deputy not challenge this false information allegedly from this witness when they had unarguable evidence it was false? Why did they continue with the narrative they created of Barry being stabbed in an isolated incident of jealousy because he had undressed to boxer shorts when they knew he hadn’t?

The Police failed to notify us when Barry was rushed to hospital dying and they again failed to notify us when he died in hospital a few hours later, was this deliberate so they could move our child to the Mortuary and make sure we would not see he was never undressed wearing only boxer shorts?

Have these Officers perverted the course of Justice to conceal their negligence?
