Dear Supporters, We have some good news to share. Yesterday 76 year old Grandpa Kamal was taken from Evin Prison to an outside hospital for only his second medical in 5 years. He called us when he got back and sounded relieved, saying he was given many tests. Hopefully the Iranian authorities will share the results of this medical with Grandpa Kamal and us. If you recall, since his detention in May 2011 his first medical was in November last year, and 6 months later we still haven’t seen the results or know what tests were done. This lack of medical care and information has been very worrying for all of us and has led to complaints by many people from all over the world. Thanks to all of you who’ve written emails and letters to your MPs, MEPs and the Iranian authorities about this. Please share this good news with your friends and family by word of mouth and social media, and encourage them to sign and keep sharing the petition.
