Dear 130,000 (!) Supporters, One week today Tuesday 24 May I will be speaking at the European Parliament in Brussels at a meeting for MEPs on the subject of “Europeans held prisoner in Iran”. I will be joined by Richard Ratcliffe and we will be discussing both his wife Nazanin’s and 76 year old Grandpa Kamal’s detentions. We will also be joined by a third co-speaker Roger Cooper, who was arrested by Iran in December 1985 and held until April 1991 in Evin Prison (also for alleged “espionage”), and wrote a book “Death plus Ten Years” describing his experiences. This Parliament meeting is being hosted by Mr Klaus Buchner MEP and his office is handling invitations to MEPs which have just been issued.
