STOP Pigeon cull at Ipswich Waterfront!

STOP Pigeon cull at Ipswich Waterfront!
The Issue
Associated British Ports (ABP), who own the port at Ipswich, have informed people living nearby that they are due to carry out a controlled killing of pigeons on Sunday, November 18, between 10am and 1pm.
The reason for killing pigeons is due to “public safety reasons” so that it does not endanger the UK’s food supply chain. However there has been many local residence and members of the public who have stated that they have never had problems with birds and have not seen many on the waterfront.
Ipswich has many problems with public safety but its extremely unfair to kill birds, especially when they have not caused any problems.
