Sell off the BBC

The Issue

Selling off the BBC will generate about £250bn for the treasury.  The money generated from the sale can benefit the underfunding of health care within our communities and help address the ongoing crisis within the NHS.  It will also benefit the nation by abolishing the forced license fee of £145.50 per anum.

The forced license fee should not be applicable as many people subscribe to alternative media sources.  It is not necessary to have a nationalized media industry that is politically biased and therefore dangerous.   The BBC is no longer impartial when reporting news or current affairs and is not regulated effectively.
