Mental illness: A disability, NOT a Lifestyle Choice! (PIP Benefits Cuts)

Mental illness: A disability, NOT a Lifestyle Choice! (PIP Benefits Cuts)
The Issue
This petition is regarding George Freeman's plans to implement a £3.7 Billion 'Tweak' to the current benefits system this would result in only those who are physically disabled being able to qualify to receive the help they need, offering no help to those with recognised mental disabilities.
A '£3.7 Billion Tweak' at what cost? Are the lives of those who are mentally ill less important and less valuable than the rest of society. Unfortunately mental health is often very poorly understood and often underfunded, with little importance placed upon treating or offering help to those who need it the most.
It is only fair that people should be treated equally and with the same respect as an able person. Please sign the petition, and share it on Facebook if you care! Thanks
