This petition calls on the leaders of the Conservative and Labour parties to put aside their differences and work out a temporary power-sharing deal, so that we can avoid a chaotic Brexit. Our country needs a stable government, as we go into the Brexit talks. The result of the 8th June 2017 general election has left us in a position where neither major party can provide that stability on its own. The Conservative/DUP coalition is paper thin and will fall apart at the first sign of trouble, and any possible 'progressive alliance' is even smaller still. The only possible stable government needs to include both the Labour Party and the Conservative Party. We've done this before as a country, when we needed unity more than anything.
