Government to announce an official Brexit celebration

The Issue

In 2016, the UK voted decisively to leave the European Union. Article 50 was triggered and we remain on schedule to leave the 29th March 2019. The ongoing debate has divided communities and fractured our society. We, therefore, require an event to bring the whole country together in the form of a celebration event, either an extension of pub hours or ideally, a one-off public holiday. Please sign this petition in order to put pressure on the Government to appropriately mark one of the greatest historic national moments the country has seen since the end of the Second World War.
