Children are losing their lives, family’s are losing their children and we are losing the battle of keeping our children safe. 

For the past year children have been allowed to carry guns, knifes and any other weapon without getting caught. This has impacted the rise in attacks and stabbing’s across London. I am sick of hearing another child loses their lives due to being stabbed or shot. We are losing innocent lives, our children are not safe anymore and the reason for that is because police have been restricted of the power to stop and search without reason. This allowing children to carry weapons as they know they can’t be searched without reason. What message is this sending to our children what message is this sending to the world! We need to put a stop to this we need to save our kids. The stabbing that happened in camberwell was the last straw. What else do you need To realise that this system is not working. You are allowing people to carry weapons you are allowing people the power to do what they want.

Police need their power back to do random stop and search on anyone whenever they feel the need to. This will save life’s as people will think more before they leave their house with a weapon in case they are caught with one, they will think twice before they roam the streets with knifes and guns in their pockets. Before when police were allowed to do their random checks- knife crime wasn’t as frequent as it is now, yes there were still stabbings and shootings but not as bad as it is now.

I need your support to make this happen, to save lives to save our children. The streets are not safe and the children out there think they need a knife or gun for protection as they feel unsafe on the streets- when is this going to stop! We need to take action now before more innocent kids die before more families lose their loved ones. We need to teach kids that this is not the action to take, that carrying these weapons is dangerous, by bringing back random stop and search will help proctect people from those willing to take life’s . It will minimise knife crime and make those people who carry knifes face consequences for their actions.
