Ban the minimum spend card penalty

The Issue

The 50p card fee has already banned, yet, shops are now getting away with charging a minimum spend (commonly £5) just because we pay by card. We shouldn't be penalised just because they're charged a payment processing fee. That's their responsibility. Not the customers.

The times are changing. Many people now only carry their phones with them in order to purchase goods. I'm sick of walking into a shop for a can of coke and asked to spend £5 just because I'm paying by card. This has to stop.

Please, sign this petition. Let's raise a discussion, so that we can put an end to the minimum spend. Share this. Let's get this out there. Let's create a fairer consumer experience. One where a snickers doesn't cost five quid.
