Here in the UK, Conversion therapy isn't banned. Although, in all but a few countries their is not a full legislation to ban conversion therapy, a lot of countries allow state's or counties to decide on a ban. Here in the UK, we are very forward with LGBTQ+ rights, and it remains a real strong point for both the UK and serves as a role model globally.

Conversion Therapy globally involves the inhumane torture and abuse of LGBTQ people. Alongside that some of the highest level psychologists have deemed the therapies unethical and immoral procedures.

Here in the UK articles, of people's accounts of the procedures done here include people having exorcism's done on them, people praising the lord etc.... and wholeheartedly it seems to me to be a religious reason why some people claim to say it works but not so long ago, the Church of England themselves have condemned it. 

Alongside the Church of England, earlier on in the year a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by major authorities such as the NHS, The Scottish Government, BACP and the RCGP. 

I just don't understand why we aren't following in Malta's footsteps in making the UK an even safer place for LGBT Teens, and Adults. I am gay myself, and at 15 I was lucky enough to have a supportive family around me not everyone gets that. So I simply beg to you, to consider passing a bill which has been proposed in the past to get this dreadful act out of the UK.
