Following the recent announcement in the news, regarding the dog that was buried alive with a nail through its head. I was so sickned to the stomach about this poor defenceless dog, and felt that I needed to do something. To think 6 months in prison, a fine and banded from having pets is not enough punishment.  We as a nation of animal lovers need harsher punishment to stop this from happening. I feel very strongly about this so decided to start this petition and with the nations support hopefully we can do something to stop this from happening with tougher punishment.
