The National Leasehold Campaign (NLC) are very pleased to announce the first leaseholders conference in Manchester on Saturday 3rd November 2018.
Our event offers a unique opportunity for you – as leaseholders – to directly influence changes to leasehold/enfranchisement legislation!
Law Commissioner Professor Nick Hopkins is speaking. He is spearheading a major review of leasehold reform.
Justin Madders MP and the Ministry of Housing Policy Lead on ground rents and enfranchisement will also be speaking.

The Law Commission published its Consultation Paper ‘Leasehold home ownership: buying your freehold or extending your lease’ on 20 September 2018.
This paper sets out proposals that aim to make buying a freehold or extending a lease simpler, easier, quicker and more cost effective It also examines options to reduce the price payable by leaseholders.
The consultation period is open until 20 November 2018 and it is IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE YOUR SAY!
