With just two weeks to go until the first community consultation meeting with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Sydney, the Nitrite Action Group has established itself from a group of researchers, clinicians, and community health activists to form submissions and help the LGBTIQ community face this process confidently. NAG have produced an excellent messaging guide with all relevant background information, information helping community members form the best arguments against any proposed bans, and important data to back up all claims. The information provided in this guide will also assist media in speaking from a well-informed position, respectful to the experience of LGBTIQ Australians. We encourage all signatories of this petition to review this messaging guide, especially in the lead up to the community consultation meetings where we will be given a platform to air our concerns and demands.

The messaging guide can be found at https://www.dropbox.com/s/dl/l585en862lh72ek/Messaging%20Guide%20%28FINAL%205%20Jan%202019%29.pdf
