This occurred at the Equus Film Festival when the CCABLAC Advocate confronted Mr. Duke Thorson, owner of Thorsport Farm. with the 8 LB. Glimmer was saved from going to slaughter by CCABLAC and the Horse Plus Humane Society of Hohenwald, Tennessee in July 2015. It was then learned that Glimmer was SORED at the MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) campus at the MTSU Walking For Education Horse Show put on by the MTSU Pre-Vet Society. You can clearly hear the advocate say, " I feel like I am being censored ...I can't have her tell me what to say". When an event devoted to Equine Art, Films and Literature allows a PAC (Political Action Committee) founded by Mr. Forrest Lucas who supports murdering horses to be its “Presenting Sponsor”, something is terribly wrong.
