Each year Anna Wintour and Vogue throw the iconic fashion and pop-culture event of the year which attracts A-list celebrities and eyeballs from around the world. In 2021 the event received over 15 million viewers on it's live steam alone. Today we are asking Anna Wintour to consider the profound impact this event could have on the future of fashion and humanity at large if Vogue were to choose sustainability as the theme of next year's 2023 event. Each year the event chooses a theme such as Punk, China or Goddess. 

In consideration that Fashion is responsible for a myriad of human rights violations, 10 percent of human-caused greenhouse gas emissions and 20 percent of global wastewater, all while using more energy than the aviation and shipping sectors combined, there is a massive opportunity for the Fashion Industry at large to shift practices to protect our incredible planet and people. 

By choosing SUSTAINABILITY as the 2023 MET GALA Theme, Anna Wintour and Vogue have the opportunity to redefine the course of fashion and pop culture at large so that we may avoid the climate catastrophe that business as usual will inevitably invite.
