We want to make a big change in how the palm oil industry works, how they grow palm oil trees and where. We also want to decrease deforestation and help save the forests that are being destructed. The problem is the palm oil industry is cutting down and burning down the Amazon rain forest in order to harvest palm oil trees for palm oil. This palm oil is then put into our foods, cleaning products and personal care products. Not only is palm oil plantations destroying the rain forests but its also an oil high in saturated fat and isn't that good for us.
