The new diary of a wimpy kid movie is offensive to all of those who grew up reading the book. Most importantly, the new Rodrick does not suit the character of our beloved antagonist in the series. Many are outraged by the amount of disrespect put into this new casting, as they do not fit the criteria of the characterization.
