16,000,000,000 trees get cut down a year. That's around 100,000 acres of forests a day, and 3 trees per second. Our environment is dying and soon we will too. Our selfishness is killing us. We humans are causing too much damage to the world that soon it cannot be reversible - but right now, it's not too late. It is estimated that by 2030, IF there are no changes, the ozone layer can collapse and we could enter our climate catastrophe. 

Saving the trees is the first step in stopping this collapse, as well as reducing our plastic use and carbon footprint. We, as individuals, cannot stop the plastic issue, but we can save the trees which is a massive step in the right direction. 

Animal agriculture is another thing that is causing great affects on climate change. but we need to take things step-by-step, and the first step is to reduce the amount of trees being cut down and plant more to keep a balance and to make a more sustainable environment for our future. 

2030 is only [near enough] a decade away. We only have an estimated 10 years before the collapse. That might just be enough time to save our planet.

It is up to us now to make a change.
