Bowel screening at 50 for Wales

The Issue

NHS England is to lower the age at which people are first invited for bowel cancer screening from 60 to 50. Early diagnosis will save lives and I want  NHS Wales to do the same. I am a Welsh resident who was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 58, during an emergency admission to hospital.  I have been fortunate that surgery and chemotherapy has been effective for me, but it is not the same for everyone.  Please support my petition for screening at 50 in Wales.
