The way animal care and control peace officers destroy lives and cover stuff up. I was a volunteer at animal care and control in the city of Richmond va. I was told by the director that if a dog is aggressive they will be put down. But what she didn't tell me is that she would lie to people about their dogs being aggressive so they can be put down. She also would lie to people about their dogs biting someone when it never happened just so they can take the dog away from them or have them pay fines for no reason at all. She also would let other volunteers take peoples dogs home with them without getting permission from the owner first . And then when we asked her why she did this she said because "she wanted to". This is not ok! These are peoples lives we are talking about here! We need more laws against this kind of stuff happening ! UPDATE: After posting my story on instagram I got contacted by several other volunteers who have had similar experiences with animal care and control in Richmond Virginia. They told me that they were told by the director to lie to people about their animals being aggressive even though they weren't just so they could get rid of them easier, one volunteer said that he was told by an ACO (animal care officer) To kill a cat right there on site because it had an infection,
