The Muppet Show and The Muppets are cultural icons that deserve to be shared and owned by future generations of people. Disney has released the first 3 seasons of The Muppet Show in suburb releases with good quality and some fun extras. However, after Season 3 of a 5 Season Show was released in 2008, Season 4 was announced for a 2010 release date-only to never be released. Disney has made no statements explaining why they never bothered to release the next two seasons of this phenomenal show, but the rumor is that DVD sales were low for the first 3 seasons and Disney would have to pay royalties for a few episodes (particularly the Christopher Reeve Superman episode) and they don't believe it's worth it. This petition is to tell them that it most definitely is! There is a wide audience that wants to complete their collection and be able to watch episodes such as the Star Wars special and the classic episodes with Johnny Cash, Paul Simon, Carol Burnett, and Liza Minnelli (just to name a few). These deserve to be released and shared by people around the world and Disney should not refuse this to people, especially when they were already in production for a Season 4 DVD.
