The triangle's only Disney Store in Raleigh, NC is scheduled to close in May 2021! Aside from the lost of jobs to the local store workers this closing will hurt, there are many fans of Disney in the area. 

A whole Facebook community group started at this store. Meeting outside it to trade Disney pins during it's monthly pin releases. Gradually we grew bigger and meet outside on the couches near the store. Then we out grew that and meet in the food court at the mall still right after the pin releases. Just this year that group spun off a new Disney fan club Chapter. Which is a non profit group group of Disney fans that started way back in 1984. https://www.facebook.com/groups/trianglencdfc

That chapter is in the process of starting NC Disneyana on Sept 4, 2021 which will be a big annual event devoted to all of Disney fandom. With cosplay, pin trading and vendors. https://www.ncdisneyana.com

Raleigh was recently the home of a D23 event just before COVID hit. The Disney company must have recognized then there is a big fan base here.

In conclusion, most likely all of the above would never be in existence if it weren't for our local Disney Store. Please help save our store! Keep Disney magic in Raleigh!
