Splash mountain is an iconic addition in the Disney parks. Based off Song of the south, splash mountain removes the live action elements. Instead it chooses to focus on the animated portion. These characters are not racist in any way but only speak with a southern accent. These stories were created by actual African American slaves in the 1800s. Remove the ride, and you remove the history. Disney needs to create a new princess and the frog ride. Not a retheme. Please step up and sign this petition.
