Every Eragon, and Inheritance series, fan is outraged and offended with the results of the current Eragon movie. Fox Studios, a prosperous and respected movie studio, went along poorly with the making of this movie of one of the best fantasy series. They ignored the plot of the book and later books.

1) The director was not worthy and lacked the skill for a high demand movie.
2) Poorly picked cast, it seems they worked with a low budget and rushed production.
3) The screenwriter ignored the plot entirely; here are major mistakes
- soliders were not posted in carvahall in the book
- Roran leaves for wrong reasons
- Saphira doesnt just transform bigger she grows!
- Eragon considered selling the egg for food for the family, and the butcher (sloan) shows his dislike for his cousin and family. Which has a part in Eldest.
- the Ra'zac make a visit to carvahall, and saphira gets spooked and takes eragon unwillingly away in which he gets wounds.
- Eragon's uncle dies in the wrong way, he is supposed to be in the rubble lf their home when he finds him, and then he brings him to town and to Horst's where he dies.
- Urgals are TOTALLY wrong. Along with the Kull.
- Brom and Eragon are supposed to travel to Teirm to meet Jeod, and there eragon meets Angela and her werecat. Angela reads eragon his future that has important effect on him.
- Murtagh comes in wrong, Brom and Eragon are tracking the Ra'zac which bring them to certain places, such as Teirm and Dras-Leona, they are supposed to be fleeing them and get captured thats when Murtagh helps free them. Brom suffers a mortal wound and later dies, but eragon makes him a cairn that Saphira turns to diamond.
- Eragon had a vision of Arya; when Eragon is imprisoned in Gil'ead by the shade and discovers her there, there is a fight when murtagh and saphira rescue them both which includes the shade.
- Arya is unconscious during the trip to Varden, which is to save her life, and they are being pursued by kull, not soliders.
- Hadaarac desert isnt even showed.
- Eragon finds the Varden wrongly.
- Orik and dwarves in general aren't there! How do you exclude an entire freaking race?! Whose home is where the varden are hiding, inside the mountain not OUTSIDE.
- Eragon and Saphira don't bless the child Elva; which turns out a curse later.
- There is no Isidar Mithrim, the dwarves prized possession, which is broken by Arya and Saphira to distract the shade so Eragon can stab him through the heart, not some bogus battle where the shade has some flying steed of evil or whatever. Also Eragon is supposed to suffer a horrible slash in the back. And when he is tended to he is contacted by Oromis to seek him in Du Weldenvarden with the elves, and that is the proper ended and cliffhanger!!
- The Battle of Farthen Dûr is consisting of Urgals not Galbatorix's soliders.
- The twins aren't in the movie, and they are very important cause they turn out to be spies and kidnap Murtagh after the battle in the beginning of Eldest. Huge part of the plot seeing how he is taken to Galbatorix where a dragon, Thorn, hatches for him and they are bounded by the evil king in the ancient language agaisnt their will.
