The new trilogy has been disrespectful to the Prequel and Original trilogy fans as well as disregarding lore around The Sith, The Jedi, The force and it’s capabilities as well as in universe mechanics such as hyperspace, families and military systems while also ruining characters established by the previous movies. By making the new trilogy non canon it will give Disney a chance to retry with another trilogy or leave the saga alone and do spinoff movies. In conclusion, adding the sequel trilogy to “legends” would effectively please the majority of fans while giving Disney a second chance.
