Make Lilo an official Disney Princess

Make Lilo an official Disney Princess
The Issue
Lilo, of the movie Lilo & Stitch is a symbol of every normal, vibrant and struggling little girl. Whether in her appearance, behavior, struggles or triumphs, Lilo represents every regular kid.
Her family is broken, her sister, Noni struggles desperately to take care of her, and just like all of the *official* Disney princesses, they overcome their adversities to find the value of family and love. Despite the wacky, destructive alien in the story, Lilo & Stitch is by far one of the most down to earth animated movies Disney has released, showcasing families as they are with warts and all.
Were Lilo to be officially made a Disney Princess, it would send a powerful message to little ones everywhere that the normal kid is a very special kid. This may seem silly to some, but I know a number of little girls (yes, I'm a dad) who agree with me and would love to see Lilo standing beside Cinderella, Belle, Merida, Anna and Elsa!
