This petition is to keep Splash Mountain the way it is and not re- theme to a “Princess and the Frog” ride. 
Splash Mountain is from the movie “Song from the South”. This movie was a bit racist and Disney tries to not bring it up anywhere on Disney plus or anything, they just want to hide it (don’t blame them especially with all the #BLM going on). Because of this situation, they thought Tiana was a good replacement as she is a black character and strong (love her)! But the thing is, Splash Mountain is a classic Disney ride going on for 30 years and everyone has loved it with no complaints.

So, I don’t even see why they should change it because even though Disney is trying to get rid of Splash Mountain because of the movie, the attraction has no racial slurs and is just Br’er Rabbit running away from home with Br’er Fox and Bear trying to eat him and a bunch of lovely critters singing the catchy song “Zip a Dee Doo Dah.”

I still love Tiana and her movie and there are not much Disney Princess attractions in Disney World; Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Frozen Ever After and a small area for Belle (they don’t have Snow White’s Scary Adventures) and would love to have more and “The Princess and the Frog” is a very entertaining movie, so I would love them to have their own attraction in New Orlean’s Square in the Magic Kingdom where the movie takes place. It’ll be a huge hit and I know everyone will love it! I’m sure Disney Imagineer’s can make a new beloved ride which everyone will adore as usual. The ride could put us in carts shaped as bathtubs and the seatbelts could be shaped as snakes (Mama Odie references), just don’t do anything to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. ❤️
