Pirates of the Caribbean. It's a world-renowned classic Disney attraction known to many. It has even inspired a blockbuster film series. 

However, the ride itself has gone through quite a few refurbishments that some may deem unnecessary, such as the addition of a Jack Sparrow animatronic. Some refurbishments have included changes to make the ride more "politically correct." This new change? Makes absolutely no sense. 

I had recently caught wind that the Disney parks is changing the iconic auction scene so that instead of women being auctioned off, they will auction off loot. 

Yes, you read right. Literal loot will be auctioned off in the iconic scene. 

Not only is this change completely unnecessary, it makes no sense. Pulling a move like this would be like erasing proof of our history and refusing to acknowledge it ever happened.
