DisneyQuest is one of the coolest attractions at Downtown Disney (soon to be Disney Springs), where virtual reality rules and imagination takes flight. From manning your own pirate ship to flying a magic carpet through the Cave of Wonders, from stepping aboard the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters to creating your own roller coasters, DisneyQuest is a place where special memories are made and where video game enthusiasts can enjoy a unique Disney experience. But all of that is about to end.

Next year, DisneyQuest will be closing. In its place will be an NBA Experience. This could possibly be similar to the attraction that is set to close down in Universal's CityWalk. Honestly, Disney Springs does not need to replace something as beautiful as DisneyQuest in favor of something that is not originally Disney. DisneyQuest was a unique experience that I have not seen in any other theme park across the country. Taking this away will not only decrease sales for Disney, but it will also shut down any chances for our kids to experience thrills like Cyberspace Mountain and the Astro Blasters.
