To Disney Company, I don't know if this is a big or a small request, but certainly it's been a argument of discussion in the Disney fan community, especially the classic traditional Disney era fans, for many years. It's a request regarding the 1940 Walt Disney's Classic "Pinocchio", one of your most important, symbolic and beloved films. Unlike the original Collodi's version, the fate of Honest John Foulfellow and Gideon, the Fox and the Cat, in the Disney's version is never revealed or clarified. During the production of the film, Walt Disney and his team planned a scene in which the two swindlers try to swindle Pinocchio a third time after the latter escaped Pleasure Island, only to end up arrested by the police, but this scene was omitted from the final script due to time constraints. Considering it's not the first time you edited your films and shorts even after many decades their original releases adding or removing details (same did others like George Lucas with his Star Wars films), and considering also how you edited the post-credits ending of the WandaVision series with very small details as easter egg to tie the finale of the series to the rest of the MCU, the idea would be to add as an easter egg a poster on the wall of Geppetto's house in the scene/frames where Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket back home just after escaping Pleasure Island and they knock the door calling for Geppetto already went to search Pinocchio on Pleasure Island only ending up swallowed by Monstro. A poster with a picture of both of them on and a sign like "Captured" or "Under custody" or even a simple "Wanted". It's a small detail that would finally explain and confirm or at least hint the ultimate fate of the two swindlers, the one desired either by Walt Disney and fans alike for many years, instead of continuing to theorize what happened to them and thinking they simply get away with their actions, either toward Pinocchio (I mean, Geppetto must have known from the two crooks where Pinocchio was headed) and the villagers on a daily basis with their petty crimes and cons. Also because it's a shame that we don't get to know any more of them after the brief "It's Pleasure Isle for me" musical number, especially considering how not only pivotal but beloved and popular they are amongst fans. I ask you to add this easter egg either for Disney Plus and if it works even for physical copies of the film (you added more trees to the post-credits ending of the WandaVision series to make slightly visible what appears to be Doctor Strange and you edited many other classic older films even decades after ther original releases, why don't do this too and give the fans the proper fate of Honest John & Gideon they should have had before and without editing or even ruining the film itself, especially considering that Walt Disney himself wanted it), please.
