I am starting this petition on behalf of "The Famous Jett Jackson" fans such as myself who would like tot see the series on Disney +. The series was not only a source of entertainment, but it was an impactful and groundbreaking series. It was one of the fed show of its time on Disney to have a majority black cast. IT was a positive representation of African American culture and family life. It also touched on social issues and showed the pro's and con's of teenage life. I believe this will not only be great for those who grew up watching this series, but also be a great show to introduce to this generation. The storylines are still relevant to this day. We are hoping this petition will show Disney and the production company who holds the rights to the show that there is a fan base that wants to see it live on, and wants to keep the legacy and memory of Lee Thompson Young alive.
