David Benioff and Dan Weiss have proved themselves incompetent when it comes to writing an epic story, as can be seen through Season 7 and 8 of Game of Thrones. You could say that they did amazing with Season 1-6 of that show, but they were merely adapting something that's already been written out for them. David Benioff was also one of the people behind the poorly received X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The critical reception behind the past two seasons of Game of Thrones should be all you need to know that these two are not ready to handle a property as massive as Star Wars. Solo didn't do too well, and neither will this future trilogy of films, if you hire David and Dan. Game of Thrones fans have already attached a negative connotation to the two of them, so they're more likely not going to watch David and Dan. If there's one thing Disney is good at, it's listening to the fans, so please hear us out!
