On March 11, 2013, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, what many consider to be one of the best Star Wars projects of all time, was cancelled. While a revival is happening on February 21, 2021, it isn’t a full revival. It was announced in 2016 that there were 52 episodes of the show that were never released. The scripts for all of them were complete. Yet we’re only getting 12 episodes with the upcoming Disney+ revival. So I’m asking that Lucasfilm continue production on the other 40 episodes, so that we may have the full story officially released. This was the last contribution that George Lucas made to the franchise. The rest of his story deserves to be told.
