Star Wars has been around for more than 40 years now, with George Lucas making 6 films total, starting from A New Hope in 1977 and ending with Revenge of the Sith in 2005. However, in 2012, George sold Lucasfilm to The Walt Disney Company, which later scrapped novels, games, comics, and other media from canon, with only the movies and The Clone Wars TV series being spared.

When it was announced that there was going to be a sequel trilogy, we were excited, especially with J.J. Abrams directing the first film. But when The Force Awakens came out, it was criticized for ripping off elements from the original Star Wars film from 1977.

When The Last Jedi, directed by Rian Johnson, was announced, we were even more excited as there were trailers popping up on YouTube and the cinemas. We were expecting fan service, like Anakin Skywalker returning as a force ghost, or Kylo Ren going to Mustafar. But when it came out, it was a DISASTER. It turned Luke Skywalker into a coward, didn't explain Snoke's backstory and killed him off, made Rey even more of a Mary Sue, had unnecessary new characters like Rose and Holdo, Finn had no character development, created tons of plot holes, the Knights of Ren didn't appear, etc. We even saw Luke drinking green milk from a sea cow!

Now, J.J. Abrams is returning to direct Episode IX, which we fear would be a ripoff of Return of the Jedi and that it might kill off Lando Calrissian, who will be returning in the movie. The entire first act was leaked, and many of us hated it.

This can be fixed. Cancel Episode IX, remove the sequel trilogy from canon, delete all evidence of it, and remake the sequel trilogy properly so that we'd have no Mary Sues, no coward Jedi, no unnecessary new characters, no ripoffs, no plot holes, no anything bad!
