The newest shows being created and shown on Disney channel, especially the animated ones, are simply horrible. There's a lack of imagination to them and they're in short, not interesting. They aren't worth the watch in my opinion. There are a few good ones but not many. 

The older Disney shows like the Disney Afternoon among others were interesting, creative and fun. They made childhood an amazing experience because we got to see our favorite characters in their own shows or together in one single show. Even some of the live action shows like Lizzie McGuire and That's So Raven addressed very real issues girls sometimes face and were fun to watch. The story lines were creative and interesting. 

It's like we're denying children of today the magic and wonder that was shown to us back then. I firmly believe that the shows need to be brought back in place of the mind numbing cartoons being shown today. Many kids cannot view the reruns due to them being aired late at night. 

These shows were a huge part of my childhood and it makes me sad that kids today are being denied such a wonderful experience.

• Lizzie McGuire
• Ducktales
• TaleSpin
• Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
• Goof Troop
• Darkwing Duck 
• Adventures of the Gummi Bears
• That's So Raven
• Gargoyles
• House of Mouse
• Aladdin
• The Little Mermaid
• Hercules The Animated Series
• Bear In The Big Blue House 
• House of Mouse
• The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh
• The Mighty Ducks
• Timon and Pumbaa
• Quack Pack
• And so on.

If these shows are brought back, there would be an increase in viewers as I know several people would tune in to watch because of how big an impact these shows had in their youth. I know I would! 

If they aren't, then we're still stuck with the shows that make absolutely no sense and aren't really worth the watch.
