From the moment he appeared on screen, Tadashi Hamada became one of the most beloved characters in the Walt Disney animated feature Big Hero 6 because of his kind, caring nature and affection towards his brother. Unfortunately, his time was short as he was killed early in the movie. Leaving many audiences feeling bereft. Even though it is understood that he lives on in spirit, this petition and it's supporters are asking him to be revived. If Phil Coulson, Brian Griffin, and Flynn Rider could be revived, Tadashi can be too. The creative minds behind Big Hero 6 (directors, writers, etc) didn't just kill off Hiro's big brother. They killed off an inspiring character who has given solace to many people and promoted many incredible values. Between Callaghan being reunited with his daughter, Hiro getting back Baymax, and even the cop getting a new tape dispenser, having him back wouldn't undermine the movie's theme of loss (which could be argued was undermined by the previously mentioned plot points and was not the point of the movie), and would improve it's message of friendship, brotherhood and bravery.  Not to mention the fact that there is a lot more interesting stuff that could be done with bringing him back as opposed to leaving him deadOn Instagram, the hashtag #bringbacktadashi has well over 4,000 posts since Big Hero 6 has been released in the United States, and the Bringbacktadashi page to date, has almost two thousand followers. And that's only counting people on social media.

He wouldn't give up on us, so we're not giving up on him. You might not realize this yet, but people need this special, very loved character alive and well again
